Materials:
- Cardstock 81/2 x 11
- Scissors
- Rotary cutter
- Straight edge ruler
- Cutting mat
I started by cutting the cardstock into 1” strips
I then cut each strips into 3 smaller strips 2(3”) 1(2.5”)
I did this with two packs using two colors of paper
Start the same process again, this time making your strips 2” wide and 8 1/2in long, cut in half. Each rectangle will be 4 1/4in x 2in
Fold the rectangle in half length wise and cut a leaf shape.
Starting with the large leaves begin hot glueing them to jute twine
This is what it will look like once you’ve reached your desired length.
Next start adding the smaller leaves on top for fullness and texture. I folded the bottom 1/4 and glued the flap to make the leaves stand upright for more movement and texture.
For the final touch, I added some small white paper flowers.
