DIY Dream Catchers

Materials:

  • Dream Catcher Hoops
  • Macrame Doilies
  • Twine
  • Wooden beads
  • Scotch Tape
  • Assorted Lace Trim

Start by cutting your twine at twice as long as the desired length finished.

I cut about 24 strings per dream catcher

Using four strings at a time, fold them in half, place the loop under the hoop, and pull the ends through.

Continue adding clusters of string until you have 8 clusters total.

Start adding trim in between your twine knots. I added different trim between every two knots

I wanted to add some wooden beads to the ends of some of the twine.

Tisha’s Tip- Wrap clear tape around the end of the twine to make stringing the bead on easy.

Once you have the bead where you want it, knot the twine under the bead to secure it into place.

Once you have the bottom twine and trim finished, add your doily.

I simply folding the end of my twine over to make a loop.

Starting at the center top I stitched around the edge of the doily to attach it to the center of the hoop.

Once I made it all the way around and finished center top I knotted the twin and left a long tail to hang it.

Here it is finished! I ended up adding some floral for a desert boho sleepover, but it’s just a beautiful without any.

I hope you make this super easy dream catcher and enjoy the amazement on people’s face when you tell them you made it! Send us photos of your finished product!
